Our client is a world leader in Signal Systems for public transport. It successfully completed many metro projects for numerous cities around the world.
With the development in APAC, especially in China, they are looking for talents to join them.
Job Description:
The job holder should spare effort to operate the signal project in the Middle East well by good coordination with the General Contractor? other contractors and internal project team; The job included the project bidding, commercial negotiation, project implementation and team management but not limited;
Responsibilities:
1. As a key person, coordinate with the General contractor, clients, partners, onshore and offshore signal project teams to ensure the project smoothly being carried out and achieve the commitments in the middle east;
2. Strong relationship with the General Contractor to finish Tender preparation Bidding, Commercial Management of potential projects;
3. As project required, coordinate with GM to prepare project plans, technical plans and build up the project team;
4. Prepare the project reviews and action plans, control the project potential risk or issue that potentially affect performance at Project Level;
5. Support GM in managing all projects to achieve Quality, Cost and Delivery commitments through the delivery of all work packages according to the contract requirements;
6. Review regular status and the progress reports and meeting minutes from the Project Manager, Project Engineer and the Customer;
7. Attends all meetings with clients, project managers, site managers and sub-contractors;
8. Supervise the performance of all the work packages of the project;
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in technical engineering – preferably with major in Signal with solid electrical knowledge;
2. 8-10 years relevant working experience;
3. Working knowledge of Metro Signal products ;
4. Rich projects management experience Railway industry; Oversea project operation and management experience is prefer;
5. Able to understand technical specifications / standards / drawings;
6. Fluency in English, both written and verbal;
7. Able to work under pressure and manage issues with priority;
8. Strong negotiation and communication skills;
9. Rigorous, autonomous, result-oriented;
10. Readiness to travel within China and occasionally beyond.
