Purchasing Manager A Top semiconductor equipment Company

Report to: Operations Manager

Main tasks
1.Directs and oversees all direct and indirect materials sourcing and procurement related activity are compliant with company polices and procedures.
2.Manage the supplier to ensure cost, quality,delivery,service expectation are met
3.Participate in contract management
4.Assist the engineering and QA department in outsourcing parts, components and services for strategic reasons
5.Closely work with Logistics department to ensure minimum costs on inbound freight and packaging for finished goods
6.To ensure no production stoppage, To identify and monitor the most economic stock level and safety stock level for all consumable material
7.Work on second source development and localization program
8.Work closely with Global and Regional purchasing team
9.Perform other duties as necessary in support or business objectives

Qualifications
1.Bachelor degree above
2.5 years experience in purchasing and procurement management with a mass production company including 2 years supervision experience
3.Fluent in written and spoken English;
4.Experience of part development with Chinese suppliers is a must
5.Excellent communication, negotiating, leadership and presentation skills
6.Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and confident team leader and player
7.Experience in Optical component industry is preferred.
