Job Description:
Report To: Chief Supply Chain Officer
Location: Guangzhou
1.Managing the activities involved in the entire product management cycle
2.Prepare profile summary, quotation comparison report of the suppliers’ capability assessment and recommend preferred suppliers.
3.Conduct raw material analysis for cost effective alternatives advice
4.Work closely with project leader, develop quality system criteria, visit target suppliers’ facilities, verify and validate all supplier technical and quality capability as per pre-qualification plan.
5.Conduct source inspections including physical measurement of product to validate compliance to specifications
6.Educate supplier proper quality/measuring methods and manufacturing/process controls
7.Conduct supplier search, identify potential suppliers, conduct preliminary screening and obtain company profiles, brochures, catalogs and other literature.
8.Design, develop and implement strategic negotiation strategies to meet target prices
9.Review, clarify and confirm project requirements up.
Job Requirements:
1.University graduate or above
2.Minimum 3 years experience in GPS/Navigation industry
3.Excellent English in both spoken and written, effective Mandarin speaking skill is important
4.Exposure to Greater China region with an experience in product management
5.Mature, diplomatic with a passion to the profession
6.Sensitive to figures
7.Willingness to travel
