Development Engineer
Company introduction: Our client is a technology, engineering, construction and manufacturing company. It is one of the largest and most respected companies in India’s private sector. Our client has an international presence, with a global spread of offices. A thrust on international business has seen overseas earnings grow significantly. It continues to grow its overseas manufacturing footprint, with facilities in China and the Gulf region. It now has set up three factories in China.
Job Description:
Location: Yan Cheng
1. In charge of development of various type of valves;
2. Interact with foundries, forges-shops and materials;
3. Tooling and production quality control;
4. Production and quality control for speedy and cost effective development;
5. Responsible for overall new production quality engineering, liaison with vendor development engineer and quality control engineer;
6. Qualify potential suppliers through factory and quality assurance process audit, shipment inspections and functional testing at supplier sites to ensure consistent product quality;
7. Integrate the design drawing from HQ and directly report to Technical Head in India;
8. Work closely with production engineer in the manufacturing sites;
9. Frequent travel in Yancheng and Binghai is required
Job Requirements:
1. Above 26 years old; bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or related major
2. With at least five years experience in manufacturing with valve knowledge, particularly cast steel gate, globe and check valves;
3. Be familiar with foundry, forges-shop and machining;
4. Knowledge of valve standards like ASTM, API, ISO, BS etc
5. Good English skills both in written and spoken;
6. Willing to travel in Jiangsu province.
