Job Description:
Report To: Director
Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:
1. Software Design and Development (70%)
• Be responsible for development of large-scale e-commerce web applications, related systems and tools, including analysis, design, implementation, unit testing and documentation
• Interact successfully with business owners, project managers and other technical teams
• Adhere to company’s engineering standards and best practices
2. Ongoing Maintenance (30%)
• Participate in application tuning
• Provide production support including on-call support
• Be able to identify, fix and follow through deployment of critical issues
Requirements:
1) 1. Competencies: Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Functional
• Expertise and experience in OO design and programming with Java
• Expertise and experience in Web application development with J2EE (JSP, Servlet, JDBC required; JSTL, JMS, JAXP, JDO desirable)
• Expertise in Rich internet applications is highly desirable
• Experience in Struts and Tiles is highly desirable
• Familiarity with XML, SOAP and Web services preferred
• Expertise in at least one application server; Apache and Tomcat preferred
• Experience with at least one source control system; experience with CVS preferred
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows
• Experience with Oracle and SQL
• Experience with ATG commerce server implementation experience
• Understanding of the digital commerce technology space
• Expertise in any of the following ATG components would be a plus: Merchandising, Serach, Content Administration, Customer Intelligence, Data Anaywhere, Campaign Optimizer, Commerce Service Center
Interpersonal
• Good communication skills

2) Experience:
• 2+ years in systems integration and development, package implementation, and/or interactive design
• Knowledge of multiple technologies including but not limited to ATG, Java, J2EE, CGI, HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript
3) Minimum education:
• Bachelor’s degree required and degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
4) Physical Requirements:
• On-call duties required
