Job Title: Site Manager (Shanghai)
Report To: Technical Director
Location: Shanghai

Responsibilities:
1. Co-ordinates the planning and scheduling of installation, testing and all other field activities.
2. Be the key interface with the Civil Contractors for site activities.
3. Provides technical support for all field installation activities (work done by others).
4. Attends site meetings with customers, staff and sub-contractors.
5. Prepares regular status and the progress reports and meeting minutes for the Project Manager, Project Engineer and the Customer.
6. Ensures all site installation drawings and documents are kept current to relevant revisions.
7. Ensures that “as-built” information is recorded as the work progresses and that this is submitted to Toronto for updating of documentation.
8. Co-ordinates the activities of technical specialists from Thales RSS who are on site to perform integration testing, trouble shooting and commissioning testing.
9. Assists with site testing during the integration and commissioning periods.
10. Assists with training of customer operations and maintenance staff with respect to the train control system.
11. Responds to various customer correspondence, either directly or via the Project Manager.
12. Prepares SAR/problem/action reports and ensures these are processed correctly and communicated to the Project Manager and Project Engineer.
13. Performs some PICO testing and assists in T&C activities as required.
14. Administers & maintains site office, including the co-ordination of office suppliers, security, bill payments, etc.
15. Advise project manager of site staffing level requirements.
Requirements:
1. B.Sc. Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2. 5 years relevant working experience
3. Working knowledge of Metro Signal products with respect to installation support and testing.
4. Working knowledge of safety standards and practices required at project site.
5. Experience in installation and testing of train control systems.
6. PC literate and use of word processing, spread sheet and scheduling software packages.
7. Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
8. Knowledge of company Policies & Procedures.
